Do It Yourself Rainwater Control for Your Home
Without proper a proper drainage system, water can leak into your home or the ground beneath your foundation. This video illustrates some of the options for routing water from your gutters away from your house so that it doesn’t cause damage.
If you’re not trying to divert that much water, a splash block may do the job. When water exits your gutter’s downspout, it hits the splash block and runs away from your house. To divert more water, or to send it much further away, tubing can be attached to your downspout. This can either be buried or kept above ground.
Even if you divert water away from your house, it may filter back through the soil and enter your home or cause other problems. United Structural Systems can design a waterproofing system for your home to keep your house dry and safe from water damage.
